Eveld hoping for big season

Bobby Eveld is a big quarterback prospect from Tampa Jesuit High School in the Sunshine State. Eveld, 6-5 and 195 pounds, is still waiting on his first offer.
"I have talked with Purdue and Florida," Eveld said. "I have talked with some smaller schools. I am still getting letter from a bunch of schools. I would say close to 25-30 of them. We'll see what happens this season."

Eveld did participate at two camps this summer. He went to Florida as well as the Manning Passing Camp.
"The Manning brother's quarterback camp with Peyton and Eli was really good. They went over defensive schemes and basically showed us everything you need to know about cover two, cover three, cover four and stuff like that. It was really good and I learned a lot."
If Eveld continues to progress he could emerge as one of the better signal callers in the Tampa Bay area. That list includes Tarean Austin from Hillsborough, C.J. Bennett from Alonso and Brion Carnes from Bradenton Manatee. Last season he split time with a senior. This season the job is all his.
Jesuit starts practice on August 10th. They have a pre-season game against Countryside and open up with Lakeland Kathleen this season.
