Evege adds to his scholarship offer total

Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne junior Donnie Evege has added to his scholarship offer total. But one thing that hasn't changed is the school at the top of Evege' list.
"I have two new offers now," Evege said. "West Virginia and Indiana offered. Right now I have five offers. I'm interested in all of them, but right now Ohio State is No. 1."

The Buckeyes as well as Purdue and Miami of Ohio round out Evege' current list of scholarship offers.
Evege has been to junior days at a number of those schools.
"I went to Ohio State, Indiana, and Tennessee," he said. "And Notre Dame and Purdue. I might go to one at West Virginia. I'll try to go to Miami too."
It is Ohio State Evege is most familiar with.
"I was at Ohio State Friday," he said. "I went up there just to touch base with the coaches, see how they are doing.
"We talked about football, track season, a lot of things. I'm going up there again on Thursday for their pro day."
Evege doesn't plan to go through the entire recruiting process.
"I plan to commit early," he said. "Before the season starts, sometime in July would be a nice time. But it could be earlier. I would like it to be by (the end of) July."
The 5-foot-11 and 185-pound Evege has played cornerback, safety, and running back. He made 31 tackles and had 815 all-purpose yards during his junior season.
"Right now I'm being recruited as an athlete," Evege said. "But I think it will be defensive back in college."
