Evans talks about top three

Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central running back Darren Evans, who claims over a half dozen scholarship offers, seems likely to head out-of-state to play his college football, at least as of now.
"If I had a top three, I'd say it would probably be Wisconsin, Louisville, and Mississippi State," Evans said. "Louisville and Mississippi State offered. And Wisconsin said after they see my transcripts they might offer."

Evans has at least a couple other schools on his list, and says he also has a number of additional scholarship offers.
"I'd like Notre Dame to show a little more interest," Evans said. "I like Ohio State. I hear from them. They said they are looking at my grades and that would determine things."
When asked if anyone else had offered a scholarship, Evans said, "Indiana, Purdue, Arkansas, Washington, and Oklahoma State offered."
The 6-foot-0, 208-pound Evans has put up huge numbers for two consecutive seasons. He rushed for 2248 yards and 29 touchdowns his sophomore year. Evans gained another 2138 yards and scored 39 times his junior season.
