Evans still up in the air on both sports

Hampton (Va.) Bethel running back Jontel Evans is a talented two-sport star that continues to holds offers in both football and basketball. The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder still hasn't made up his ind which sport he plans to pursue, but is working on accommodating both with camps this summer.
"I'm going to camp at Kansas for basketball," he said. "I haven't done any camps for football, but I want to.

"Right now I am favoring basketball a little more, but it's kind of even."
Evans holds a basketball offers from Marquette and Virginia and a football scholarship from North Carolina State.
"All the coaches just want to get to know me more. I am excited about Marquette. That was just a week ago and the name speaks for itself."
Plenty of other colleges are coming in for football including Maryland, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.
"They are all showing interest and all want me to go to camp. I'm trying to, but my coach schedules everything and just lets me know."
In the meantime, Evans will be busy doing basketball camps.
"I'm going to the Peach Jam and then we have nationals in July."
The two-sport star discussed what he wants in a school.
"I only want to play one sport," he said. "Aside from that, I want a good education. That is real important to me."
