Evans moves around visits

Union City (Calif.) James Logan athlete Rashad Evans was supposed to visit Oregon a few weeks back but the trip had to be moved to later on in January.
Evans, 5-9, 160 pounds is one of the state's top two sport athletes although he'll focus on just football in college. He's also one of the state's top long and triple jumpers as well as a standout on the gridiron.

"This will be my last year doing track," Evans said. "To be honest, I don't really enjoy track that much and I'm looking forward to it being over. I do track because I'm pretty good at it but my passion has always been football."
Evans can play either corner or receiver in college but said he prefers receiver and that's where he's being recruited the most. He has already visited Fresno State and Utah and has two visits left.
"I was supposed to visit Oregon (Dec. 14) but I had my football banquet that weekend so I had to move it," Evans said. "I'm going to visit Cal (Jan. 4) and then Oregon will likely be (Jan. 11). I haven't set the Oregon one in stone yet but I think that will likely be the weekend.
"Those are the only four schools I'm looking at. After I take these last two visits, I'll go ahead and make my decision and I don't have a leader right now."
