Euwell discusses UNC official
Over a week ago, North Carolina State soft defensive end commitment Linwan Euwell took an official visit to Chapel Hill. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder out of Tarboro (N.C.) Southwest Edgecombe enjoyed the trip, but was it enough to change his commitment?
"My visit to North Carolina was ok," he said. "I mostly toured the campus, went to a basketball game and hung out with the players. The basketball game was great, the fans were really excited.

"My host on the trip was Bryan Dixon. I've met the coaches before, but he just talked to me about how they are good people."
Of course, the three-star prospect met with the coaches including Butch Davis.
"I got to talk to coach Blake for a while," he said. "He's a good person and really down to earth. He talked to me straight. Then I talked to coach Davis about the visit and he basically asked if I enjoyed myself, which I did."
Asked to rate the visit, Euwell couldn't although he plans to announce a final decision sometime before Signing Day.
"I don't think anyone is leading right now," he said. "I'm still between both schools and plan to decide in the next week or so."
