Eubanks ready for weekend visit

St Paul, Minn. four star ranked offensive line prospect Rafael Eubanks (6-foot-3, 290 pounds) from Cretin-Derham High School made his first official visit to the University of Minnesota, and Eubanks will check out the University of Iowa this coming weekend.
“I had a great visit to Minnesota," Eubanks said. "People assume that since you live in Minnesota that you know all about the program, but I really learned a lot of the inside workings of the program. My visit definitely changed my mind and especially my parents mind about the Gophers in a very positive way."

"This week I'm heading to Iowa for my official visit. I know that Iowa will have a lot of prospects in this week, and that's exciting to be able to get to know some of the other recruits. I guess I'm looking to get a more personal look at the players and the coaches at Iowa. It's also a great chance to talk with the players up close and to get a better feeling about how well they get along. I'm excited about my visit this week to Iowa."
Eubanks has an official set for Miami (Fla.) on January 14th, and could Eubanks set any additional visits before making his final college choice?
"I'm definitely going to take my official visit to Miami, and I'm giving some serious consideration towards taking an official visit to either Notre Dame or Oklahoma. The whole coaching change at Notre Dame is really disappointing to me, and I had the Irish pretty high until that happened. Oklahoma has also been recruiting me pretty hard, and I was always interested in the Sooners. Oklahoma is definitely higher on my list these days. I'm thinking about taking an official visit to either Notre Dame or Oklahoma, and I'll try to make that decision very soon."
Eubanks has also been busy with several in home visits.
"Notre Dame, Minnesota, Iowa and Maryland have already made in home visits. Several schools have also been in school, and both Miami and Oklahoma are scheduled to make home visits in the next week or so."
So is Eubanks getting any closer to making his final college choice?
"Yeah, I'm definitely getting closer, I'm still planning to take my remaining visits before I make my final college choice."
