Estopinan could be leader of the Pack

Four-star inside linebacker Javier Estopinan is back from his first official visit this past weekend, so what did he think about his time at N.C. State? And what’s on tap for the rest of his visits?
“I would say that the trip was a big success,” Estopinan, who is ranked as the nation’s No. 12 inside linebacker and a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, said. “Coach Amato is a really good coach, and I enjoyed my talk with him about how I could fit in there at N.C. State.”

Estopinan said the biggest thing that sold him on N.C. State this weekend was that fact that he is being told that he is the Wolfpack’s lone target at middle linebacker.
“I’m their guy,” he said. “They want me to come in, contribute right away as a freshman and make an impact.”
Estopinan, though, isn’t rushing things. He has visits set with Ohio State for next weekend. Florida State gets him on January 9 and then Florida gets him on January 16.
“I would say that they’re all about even, until I take my trips,” he said. “Then I’ll know more.”
