Enlow on the road to recovery

North Little Rock (Ark.) wide receiver Tobias Enlow had a busy summer full of camps and college visits. He had a plan, and he put it into action.
"My mindset was just to get my body right because I knew I was going to have to do a lot of camps. So I was getting my body right so I would have the endurance to go through all of them," Enlow said. "Last season I didn't really do too much because I was behind K.J. Hill, so I was preparing myself for the summer. I had the mindset that people don't really know me right now so I'm going to make them know me. I'm going to do my best and see what heppens from there."

What happened from there was an impressive string of performances. Wearing his neon green shorts Enlow earned offers from UCA, ULM, Missouri St., Southeast Missouri St., Ouachita Baptist, Arkansas Tech, and Harding. Strong camp performances also brought interest from Arkansas and Mississippi State.
It was all taking shape and he was prepared for a breakout season in 2015.
However, his plans for the 2015 season ended before they ever started when he tore his ACL in August.
"It was a crazy accident, but it's all good now," Enlow said. "I still have all of my offers from all of my schools and Arkansas and Mississippi State are still recruiting me hard."
It was tough news to receive and it may have taken him off the field, but it has not stopped him from working towards his goals
"I'm mentally ready. I just take it day-by-day and find every little thing I can do to make my knee better and come back quicker," Enlow said. "For the first couple of days after I got my MRI and surgery, I was kind of down, but then I just took it as a blessing because it could have been worse. I was just like I'm going to take it for what it is and come back even stronger."
He is currently rehabbing his injury and has already taken two unofficial visits to Arkansas games this fall. Enlow left impressed on both occasions
"It's a lot. I've never seen so many fans that just love a team so much and just go crazy at the games," Enlow said. "I had a lot of fun just watching them warm-up because I know that feeling but in front of all those people it was just crazy. They were saying Wooo Pig Sooey about 1,000 times. I just had a lot of fun."
His next trip will be to Southeast Missouri State to watch the Redhawks host Murray State on October 3.
Four weeks after surgery Enlow is already walking around. He is expected to be 100-percent recovered by February.
He is currently ranked a 5.5, three-star prospect and he is No. 10 in the Rivals.com Arkansas Preseason Top 10.
