Emerging 2015 NC DB talks in-state options

Class of 2015 Charlotte (N.C.) Rocky River defensive back Jaire Alexander recently picked up his first offer from FCS school Charleston Southern, but if recent interest is any indication, it will be the first of many.
"It was an exciting feeling to get that first one," Alexander said. "I've been working so hard for this moment and it finally came."

Among the other schools starting to show interest are Wake Forest, N.C. State, Duke, Penn State and Charlotte.
The new staff at Wake has made it clear that Alexander is someone they're eager to learn more about.
"I've been talking to the new coaches a lot," he said. "I think the change is a good thing that's for the best because the old coaches didn't even know who I was but the new ones are reaching out to me. I have a good feeling about the new guys."
Wake Forest is one of several trying to get Alexander on campus for a visit in the near future. He said he's planning a busy spring and summer.
"I'm going to go to a lot of camps," he said. "I'm planning on going to N.C. State, they really want to get me up there and to Duke, they said they really like me too."
