Emerging 2015 FL OT/DT has ACC offers

At 6-foot-5, 280 pounds it's not easy for Winter Haven (Fla.) offensive/defensive lineman Mike Arnold to slide on the radar. So when he hit the camp circuit this summer, it's no wonder he came away with a ton of new interest from several big-time programs.
Arnold recently added offers from Miami, UCF and Duke, with both Florida and Florida State showing strong interest as well.

"I just went to Friday Night Lights and I think I did good," Arnold said. "I worked out as a defensive lineman instead of as a tackle and the coaches like what I was able to do. They didn't really know me coming in so I have to send them some film and see where it goes."
Arnold said that if he has to make a prediction, he thinks the Seminoles will be the next school to pull the trigger on an offer.
"Florida State is looking at me hard," he said. "They told me they really liked me after I camped there. They want me on offense."
While the Gators and 'Noles are still in the expletory phase with Arnold, the Hurricanes coaches saw all they needed to when Arnold worked out in Coral Gables earlier this summer.
"I was at their camp and I was only worked out for like 30 minutes before they pulled me aside," he said. "They brought me in the coaches office and then took me on a tour of the campus. I thought the school would be bigger, but it's not, I still liked it though."
Miami defensive line coach Jethro Franklin is Arnold's primary recruiter and he said he's already working on getting him on campus again soon.
"They want me to come down for one of their games," Arnold said. "I haven't scheduled it yet but I hope I can soon."
Arnold will play primarily offense this fall but will also try to get some reps on defensive for film purposes going forward.
