Three-star safety Garrett Embry out of Roswell, Ga. holds five offers. Recruiting has slowed down a bit recently for the 6-foot-2, 209-pounder, but it should pick up in the very near future.
"Since the text message ban passed it's been kind of quiet. I'm still getting letters," he said. "I have five offers still too from Baylor, Oregon, Buffalo, UCF and Miami (Ohio)."
What is next for Embry?
"Next, I'm going to get that list down to hopefully two or three going into the season," he said. "With my schedule, it's going to be hard to take an official visit during the season, but I may try to get out for a bye. Otherwise I plan to go after the season."
The No. 57 safety in the country believes he knows one school that will get an official.
"I know I'm trying to get an official out to Oregon as soon as possible," he said. "There's the chance I could commit while I'm out there, but I'm not going to say that will happen."
A few other schools are still mentioning the possibility of offering too.
"Arizona State, Georgia Tech and North Carolina are interested in me," he said. "If those schools offer, I'll definitely give them a look."
Embry and Roswell kick off the season on September 1st.
