Elzy names two favorites

Warren (Ohio) John F. Kennedy running back Anthony Elzy has over a half dozen scholarship offers. But it's two schools that have not offered that top his list.
"I have about seven offers now," Elzy said. "Miami of Ohio, Akron, Bowling Green, Maryland, North Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Kentucky, and Pitt and Marshall. So I guess that's nine offers.

"And I'm also looking at Notre Dame and Michigan. And I guess you could say Ohio State and Syracuse.
"My two favorites are Michigan and Notre Dame.
"Of the ones that offered North Carolina, Pitt, and Miami of Ohio are my favorites."
Elzy has visited Pitt.
"And I'm going to North Carolina, and Notre Dame and Syracuse."
Asked when he will select a college, Elzy said, "I'm going to wait it out and see what happens this summer. I'm going to commit right before the season starts or maybe a week or two into it."
The 5-foot-10, 205 pound Elzy rushed for over 2400 yards during his junior season. Elzy averaged 11 yards per carry and scored 30 times as he was named Division V co-offensive player of the year.
