Ely FB picks up SEC offer

Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely is one of those schools that always has prospects. Sometimes it takes them a while to emerge, but when they do they tend to make a big splash in the recruiting world. One such prospect that has already picked up one offer and interest from plenty of others is fullback LaRon Graham.
"I got an offer from Ole Miss back during the spring," Graham said. "They came and watched our spring game and then called after that and said that I had an offer. I hear a lot from some other schools, but Middle Tennessee State and Wisconsin are two that send a lot of handwritten mail and stuff."

The 5-foot-11, 212-pound Graham attended the Miami NIKE camp where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds, a 4.62 second shuttle and posted a 30-inch vertical jump.
"Right now my top four are NC State, Auburn, Tennessee and Ole Miss," Graham said. "NC State is probably my top school right now. I like the way they run their offense up there. I would like to be a part of that ground attack."
During his junior campaign Graham rushed for 560 yards and nine touchdowns in helping lead his team to a state semi-final appearance.
"I want to go to a school that has been recruiting me for a while," Graham said. "I don't want to go to a school that starts recruiting me at the end because another guy they liked better fell through. I want to go where I am wanted and where I can play early."
Though Graham will show teams who were on him early loyalty don't expect a decision soon.
"I will probably wait and take some visits before I make a decision," Graham said. "I don't want to commit to a school without having seen it or anything, so I will take some visits and get to know the coaches before I decide."
