Ely DB all about the team

Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely wide receiver Eddie Cameron has already had a big season thus far, but that's not what is important, winning games and finishing business from the semi-final appearance Ely made a year ago.
"I haven't gotten any calls so far yet," Cameron said. "Ole Miss and Vanderbilt caled back in May and they talked to my dad and told him that they wre going to offer me a scholarship. I still get mail from a lot of schools too, including Ole Miss and Vandy."

The 5-foot-9.5, 169-pound Cameron attended the Miami NIKE camp where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds, the shuttle in 4.12 seconds and posted a 28-inch vertical jump.
"Right now our season is going alright, we started off a little slow, but I am expecting to have a big year," Cameron said. "I have four catches for 123 yards through three games. Stats aren't what's important to me, I just want to help the team win. I'll catch twenty passes or two passes, whatever helps us win as a team."
As a junior Cameron had 200 yards receiving and two touchdowns as a junior in helping lead his team to the semi-finals of the class 6A playoffs.
"Boston College, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Florida are my top five," Cameron said. "I would have to say that Boston College is my top school. They have a good football team. I liked the atmosphere for when I wen to camp up there. I really liked the coaches too. They really only have one wide receiver coming back next year so they will have some holes to fill."
