Several of the nation's top junior college prospects have already set some of their official visits for later in the year. For Jermaine Eluemunor he is showing that he is not averse to changing his mind.
Recently the Lackawanna C.C. offensive tackle said he had set official visits to Arkansas, Ohio State and Texas A&M. Things have changed significantly since then.
"I'm going to Ohio State [unofficially] on April 6," Eluemunor said. "Then I've got Bama, Arkansas and UCLA right now for officials. I'll go to Florida State so I've got one more and I'm trying to figure that one out."
The junior college tackle will visit UCLA from June 7-9. Eluemunor will be at Alabama from July 17-19 and will spend the next three days, July 19-21, at Arkansas.
He does not have a set date for his planned visit to Florida State but said he is fairly certain that is one he will be taking.
"I went to Penn State unofficially so I've been there," he said. "I'm going to Ohio State so coach [Urban] Meyer and coach [Ed] Warinner can see me and meet with me."
Eluemunor discussed why he decided to cancel his visit to Texas A&M.
"I don't even know," he said. "I just barely talk to them. I don't know what's up with them."
With 22 offers altogether, Eluemunor has plenty of other options and quickly refocused his attention on other schools. There is one clear reason he has not set that fifth visit yet and he is open about it. It is a tactical decision.
"I've narrowed it down but I haven't told anybody," he said. "I'm waiting until after April so scouts can come and see the other players on my team."
