Elon for Brodsky
Orange Park (Fla.) Fleming Island safety Craig Brodsky recently took a visit to the campus of Elon University in North Carolina. He knew immediately after that trip that out of his six current offers, that was the right place for him.
"I was up there last week and did the camp and even prior to that they had been showing me a lot of interest," Brodsky said. "It felt like the best place for me. It felt like home. I want to spend the next four years there. I really enjoy (head) Coach (Jason) Swepson and all of the coaches up there."

In addition to Swepson, Brodsky also had a great relationship with his primary recruiter.
"I like Coach (Scott) Browne, the recruiting coordinator," Brodsky said. "That is who I told I committed. He got in touch with me earlier this year and has stayed in constant contact. He gave me my tour of the school. He was just really excited for me when I committed."
Another reason why Brodsky opted for the Phoenix was how they intend to use him in their defensive scheme.
"They want to use me as a safety while other schools were recruiting me as a corner," Brodsky said. "I prefer safety. That influenced my decision quite a bit."
Away from football, Brodsky also liked the school for their academics and friendly feel.
"I love the campus," Brodsky said. "They have one of the top business schools in the country and that is what I am interested in majoring in."
Despite offers such as The Citadel, Dartmouth, Harvard, Jacksonville, and Wofford, as well as numerous others interested, Brodsky says he is certain Elon is his future home.
"I am finished," Brodsky said.
