Ellis shuffles visits; adds favorite

Hampton (Va.) Bethel defensive end Chris Ellis has been forced to move his visit dates around a bit after his first trip got cancelled. Now it seems a new team is emerging as a result.

"When my visit to Tech got re-scheduled, I was going to have to cancel a trip," said Ellis, who was supposed to take an official visit to Tech on Dec. 13. "It was going to be Tennessee that I bumped, but after I talked to them and they've been in my house, they're really moving up on my list. I really like what I'm hearing from them."

Now Ellis will visit Tennessee between trips to Virginia and Virginia Tech.

"I start with Maryland on Jan. 10, then it's Virginia on Jan. 17," he said. "After my Virginia trip, I go to Tennessee from Jan. 20-22 and then I finish with Tech on Jan. 24 and NC State on Jan. 31."

Is there a leader?

"Nope, right now I like Tech, UVA and Tennessee the same," he said. "Maryland is in there too and NC State is a little bit behind. It will all come down to my visits."
