Ellis Sets Visit No. 4

Chris Ellis has been described as one of the top defensive players in the nation since he emerged as a star last season. As of right now he's set up his fourth official visit remains open.
"I set up my fourth visit a few days ago," the 6-foot-5, 230-pound defensive end said. "It will be to Maryland on Jan. 10. My other official visits that I've set up will be to Virginia Tech (Dec. 13), Virginia (Jan. 17), and Tennessee (Nov. 30). I'm looking forward to all of them and I'll probably schedule my last visit to somewhere like UCLA. I'm not ruling out NC State or Penn State, but UCLA is across the country and I wouldn't get a chance to visit there otherwise."

Ellis has done nothing to hurt his tremendous reputation thus far in his senior season. As the anchor of an attacking defense at Hampton (Va.) Bethel, Ellis has recorded almost 70 tackles and has already tallied 10 sacks.
"I should have more," said Ellis, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. "I'm seeing a lot of double teams and that's tough, no doubt. I'm having a good season I think, but I feel like I should be able to get to the quarterback every time he drops back.
"I'll make my final decision after I've taken all my official visits. I'm not sure when I'll schedule my fifth visit or when I'll take it, but my decision should come some time around signing day."
