Ellis nearing a decision
Hampton (Va.) Bethel defensive end Chris Ellis has a busy week ahead of him as he heads towards a decision.
"I have coaches in pretty much every day this week," said the 6-foot-5, 230-pounder. "I have coach Friedgen on Wednesday and assistant coaches every other day. I'm still considering all four of my favorites."

Those favorites are Virginia Tech, Virginia, Maryland and Tennessee.
"Virginia Tech has the edge right now, but I'm coming down from my visit a bit," he said. "Virginia is right behind them and Maryland and Tennessee are there as well. I plan on listening to everyone for as long as I can and then deciding next week."
Ellis said he won't take his NC State visit this weekend. He hasn't set an exact date for his announcement yet.
