Ellis leaning to Hokies

Hampton (Va.) Bethel defensive end Chris Ellis entered his official visit to Virginia Tech a bit confused. Now things seem to be clearer.
"It was a great visit," said the 6-foot-5, 230-pounder. "I needed a relaxing visit and a place where I felt at home and this was it. I was hosted by Jimmy Williams, who is a good friend of mine and everyone seemed to have a great time."

Ellis was impressed with with Tech's preparation.
"Coach Wiles is my position coach there and he broke down film with me for two hours," he said. "He'd run a play of a Virginia Tech guy making a play and then run a play of me making a similar play at Bethel. It was a new approach."
Ellis said he doesn't really have a leader right now but his best visit was to Virginia Tech. He's also considering Maryland, Tennessee and Virginia.
"I doubt I'll make my NC State visit next weekend, I'm tired," he said. "I need some time to just relax a bit."
Ellis will announce on Signing Day at his school.
