Elliot has clear leader

Fairfield, Ohio, linebacker Dewey Elliot says over three dozen schools are recruiting him.
"Over 37 colleges are looking at me," Elliot said. "Michigan State, Tennessee, Kentucky, Syracuse, Illinois, Iowa, Oklahoma, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Purdue, Wisconsin and a lot more have been to my school. Ohio State is supposed to come out."

When asked which schools he is most interested in, Elliot said, "I like Ohio State, UC, West Virginia and Boston College."
However it is the Buckeyes that stand out.
"Ohio State is my favorite," Elliot said. "I've been watching them my whole life. Being a linebacker, I look up to A.J. Hawk."
Elliot was in Columbus not earlier this month for the NIKE Football Training Camp at Ohio State.
"I think I was one of the best linebackers up there," he said. "I think I did real well in the linebacker drills."
Elliot will be back in Columbus in June.
"I'm going to Ohio State's camp," he said. "I'm going to Cincinnati's camp and hopefully Oklahoma's."
The 6-foot-0 and 239-pound Elliot made close to 100 tackles and intercepted two passes during his junior season. Elliot was an all-conference, all-city, and all-county selection.
