Ellingsen selects Western Michigan

"I committed to Western Michigan," Crown Point, Ind., offensive lineman Steve Ellingsen said. "I had my official visit there this past weekend.
"Everything went great. I liked the facilities. They were real nice. The campus was nice. And I liked the coaches a lot.

"They said I would play on the offensive line, but I don't know where they're going to put me.
"Miami of Ohio and Bowling Green were recruiting me, and Eastern Michigan called right before my visit to Western and wanted me to set up a visit."
The 6-foot-5 and 270 pound Ellingsen has been a varsity starter since his sophomore year. He played tackle that season but has played guard the past two years.
