THE LATEST

Three of the top prospects in the state of Tennessee made the trip north to Columbus to camp at Ohio State on Friday as Woodi Washington, Lance Wilhoite and Adonis Otey worked out for the Buckeyes coaches. After an impressive day from all three, each got to spend time with head coach Urban Meyer and discuss their standing with the program. Rivals.com caught up with each prospect to get a brief rundown on how things went in Columbus.

IN THEIR WORDS

"It was good being out there on the field with the coaches and afterwards Coach Smith told me that I’m the guy that he wants. He told me I'm just like Michael Thomas and that I was an elite wide receiver and the sky is the limit for me. After that I got a chance to talk to Coach Meyer told me the same. I’m the guy that he wants and they have a spot for me to commit." -- Lance Whilhoite

"Coach Johnson told me that I did a great job. They wanted to see me run and I put up two really good times in the 40. They have been recruiting me for a while now but it was good to get up there and work with them on the field. After camp I got a chance to talk with Coach Meyer and he let me know that I'm high on their board." -- Adonis Otey

"Ohio State was one of my first big offers and I have been to campus before but this was a great chance to spend some time on the field with the coaches. The camp went really well and Coach Johnson said he really liked the way I looked and the way I ran. I also talked to Coach Meyer and he let me know they have been high on me for a while and I'm high up on their board."

RIVALS TAKE

"This trip was big for all three as the Buckeyes have made it clear that they plan on being a force in the Mid-State Tennessee area. After landing a pair of Rivals250 prospect last year in Master Teague and Max Wray, it appears as if they could be in prime position to add even more Tennessee-based talent to their roster in the Class of 2019. All three players will continue on the visit circuit, with plans to head south to Tallahassee to camp at Florida State on Sunday." -- Wommack
