Elite QB just returned from Florida

Matt Gutierrez is one of the top signal callers in the country with a lot of attention to go with his talents. What has he been doing this summer to perfect his trade?
Gutierrez is 6-foot-4 and 208 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds and has a vertical jump of 33 inches. Those numbers tell a pretty big picutre. He is one of the top pro-style quarterbacks in the country. A number of schools are taking note and he is looking right back at them.

"Right now everybody is really on a level playing field," he said. " I am just trying to see what is out there."
Which leads to the latest rumors. Did you make a trip to the state of Florida recently?
"I visited all three of the Flordia schools," he said. "I gained a lot of knowledge about the schools. But, I am still even across the board."
Who are some of the schools that have caught your attention?
"Well, I have offers from Louisiana State, Alabama, Miami, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, California, Southern California, Clemson, Michigan and Notre Dame," he said. "All of those are definately in my mind, but some others would be Tennessee, Florida State, Florida and Stanford."
Is the mail box still filling up?
"Oh, yeah my grandmother filed all of my letters actually and I have received over 1,000 letters," he said.
Don't expect that number to stay there very long because Matt Gutierrez is a big time prospect and one that will be in the spotlight for sometime to come.
