Elite juco CB to visit AM, Missouri

One of the nation’s top junior college cover corners is Tyler (Texas) Junior College standout Quincy Butler. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound coverman extreme has four interceptions and leads his conference in picks. He also has a ton of schools wanting him to pick them.
“I have a list of schools pretty long that are after me,” he said. “Let me read the ones that call me most every week – Marshall, Iowa, Iowa State, Middle Tennessee, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Kansas, Baylor and Texas Tech.”

Butler said he’s sure of two schools that will get visits for sure.
“I’m going to visit Texas A&M unofficially for the Texas game,” Butler, who is originally from San Antonio, said. “The Aggies are about the only team that hasn’t offered me yet, but the coaches told me that they would offer me when I came up for the game.”
What about the other for sure visit?
“I’m going to visit Missouri, too,” he said. “I don’t have a visit date scheduled yet, but that’s something that I’ll work out here pretty soon.”
At this point Butler is pretty focused on what it takes to beat rival Trinity Valley. Trinity throws the ball all over the field and should be a good test for Butler.
“Oh man we’re going to have to play defense, defense and defense some more,” he said. “They put up points on everybody doing everything. I’m kind of licking my chops. I’m going to be ready.”
