Elite DT will visit Pitt

Paramus (N.J.) Catholic defensive tackle Marquise Wright has to be pretty excited about where he landed on the Rivals100 when the rankings came out recently, as he is now an obvious choice for one of the region's top prospects regardless of position.
The nation's No. 4 defensive tackle and No. 61 overall prospect has an impressive offer list and he's taking a hard look at a lot of schools in the region and beyond, including Penn State, Pitt, Florida State, Oklahoma and Miami, among plenty of others.

He will soon be taking a trip to one of the Big East schools that has been showing him a lot of love throughout the process.
"I haven't done anything (lately) but I'm going to visit Pitt next Saturday," Wright said on Sunday in a phone interview with Rivals.com.
"That's for an unofficial visit. I've been e-mailing Jeff Hafley and talking to them a little bit."
When asked where the Panthers fit into the mix Wright admitted that they are a school of interest but wouldn't go much beyond that.
"I won't say they're at the top but it's a place I want to see," he said.
Wright said he has "no clue" whether he will visit other schools over the summer. He has a pretty good idea of how he wants to go about things beyond that, though.
"I'm gonna wait until September and then I'll narrow it to two," Wright explained.
