Elite DT wants to visit Miami, OU

One of the nation's elite junior defensive tackles wants to visit Miami and Oklahoma but will probably have to wait a while before he is able to do it.
That's what Marquise Wright told Rivals.com in a recent phone interview.

The 6-foot-3, 265-pound lineman from Paramus Catholic in New Jersey has already received offers from the Hurricanes and Sooners, in addition to schools Florida State, Georgia, Penn State and a host of others.
"I haven't had a chance to visit anyone lately, except Penn State," Wright said.
"I was there for the second time this past weekend for their spring game. It went well. I didn't really get to speak to (the coaches) too much but I had a good time."
Wright said he doesn't have much planned for the coming weeks but will take visits as his coaches help him make his schedule.
He said coaches from North Carolina, Purdue, South Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, Duke and Marshall have visited his school to check him out recently. With offers from "between 12 and 14 schools", as Wright said, you can expect more schools to make the trip before too long.
While Wright is high on several of the schools that have offered he's a bit perplexed over the fact that one school is absent from his offer list.
"I'm just pretty shocked Rutgers hasn't offered," he said. "I've pretty much lost a lot of interest in them."
Wright went on to say the only two schools that he knows he will want to take official visits to are Oklahoma and Miami.
