Elite corner to visit Colorado

Colorado has a good number of players from their own state and surrounding states, but a quick glance at the Buffs' roster reveals that they are willing to seek out top prospects anywhere in the nation.
The Buffaloes are pursuing Yuri Wright, an elite cornerback from Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep with offers from schools all across the country.

Wright is a member of the Rivals250 to Watch for 2012, so he's receiving plenty of attention. There will be a lot of competition for Wright, and he doesn't plan on making a decision until his senior season, but Wright will be visiting Colorado soon and the Buffaloes have a golden opportunity to make a positive impression.
"I should be going out to Colorado on April 8-9," Wright said. "That's the latest visit I have planned. I don't have any others planned yet.
"I'm just going out there to take a visit to the school. It's just an unofficial. A player that went to my school is out there and he's told me it's a very good school, so I just want to go out there and see what it's like."
That player is Tony Jones, a freshman running back for the Buffs.
While Wright doesn't have anything else planned he has two more schools in mind he would like to visit.
"I want to get out to Notre Dame and Alabama," he continued.
Wright is quick to point out that he does not have any favorites, so don't read too much into visit plans at this point.
With "16 or 17" verbal offers and others sure to come, Wright has a lot of work in front of him.
"I'll probably just wait it out until my senior season," he concluded.
