Elite California WR Waiting

He is absolutely one of the top wide receivers in the state of California and the west coast for that matter. Is he solid on his top schools?

Bakersfield, California wide receiver Blake Mackey is 6-foot-3 and 183 pounds. He is one of the best receivers around. One of his major advantages would be his superior speed. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds. With all of those talents one would think he would be busy slimming the list because he already had the offers he was looking for. But, is that the case?

"I like Southern California a lot, but they haven’t offered. If they did they would probably be in my top three," he said. "My brother goes to Colorado and he is really recruiting me pretty hard so they are also way up on my list."

Who do you consider your favorites?

"Arizona State, Washington, Colorado, Oregon, and Oregon State are my top schools," he said. "I just like all of them. They run great programs."

Do you have any plans yet for visits?

"I am going to the Texas A&M game at Boulder," he said. "I can't wait."

Well, let's all watch and see if a Trojan offer will change the process. It sure seems like it will.
