Elite California RB has a leader

Gardena (Calif.) Serra running back Loren Wade has a list of favorites. And there is one school that sticks out above the rest at this point.
“USC is at the top of my list,” he said. “Arizona State, Colorado, Michigan and Washington are also in my top five, but USC is in the lead slightly.

“I have scholarship offers from USC, Colorado and Arizona State.”
Wade is 6-foot-0 and 214 pounds. He has been timed at 4.53 seconds in the 40-yard dash and 4.01 seconds in the 20-yard shuttle. He has the talent to be something very special at the next level.
Something very impressive about Wade was his junior season.
“I only played eight games last year and had 1469 yards and 14 touchdowns,” he said. “I was named offensive player of the year in my league, all-cif and all-state in my junior season.”
That is not an easy list of honors to obtain in just eight games.
That ability will only make his list of offers grow during his senior season. But, the question is can anybody jump ahead of the Trojans?
“It is still early,” he said. “I am just taking my time. I want to see who impresses me the most as far as school and football are concerned.”
