Eldridge back from Manhattan

La Cygne (Kan.) Prairie View strongside defensive end/wide receiver Brody Eldridge took his first of two unofficial visits this week. With a trip to Oklahoma looming, the No. 3 player in the Sunflower State took a visit to Kansas State on Tuesday.
“Everything went well,” Eldridge, who is 6-foot-5 and 231 pounds, said. “I watched them practice this morning and then I visited with coach (Joe Bob) Clements.”

With offers on the table from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Kansas and TCU, the Wildcats were the only team that had not offered him on his top list. And it appears that remains the same after the visit to Manhattan.
“They said coach Snyder wants to make sure that they aren't making a mistake by offering me too early,” he said. “So they’re not offering me at this point. I don’t know if they’re going to before the season starts or not.”
Eldridge is scheduled to visit Norman on Thursday. He camped this summer at K-State and Oklahoma State. He’s also visited Lawrence unofficially.
“I won’t make a decision while I’m down there,” Eldridge said about his visit to Oklahoma. “My plan is to make a decision the last week of August before my season starts.”
