Elam set to visit Ohio State today

High three-star Elizabethtown (Ky.) John Hardin defensive tackle Matt Elam already has the Ohio State Buckeyes in his top five and he'll be taking a closer look at the program when he visits today.
Elam confirmed this morning via text message that he's taking an unofficial trip to visit the Buckeyes and is being escorted by his school's athletic director.

"Just [going to see] how the campus is and how I interact with the coaching staff," Elam said. "I get to meet Eddie George, too."
The visit should serve as a good opportunity for Elam to spend more time with his primary recruiters, Ohio State assistant coaches Tim Hinton and Mike Vrabel.
The 6-foot-6, 325 pound Elam recently named a top five (in no order) of Ohio State, Kentucky, Alabama, Louisville and Notre Dame.
Elam has already taken unofficial visits to Louisville, Kentucky and Alabama.
