Ekom Udofia pure beast

You will have to travel far and wide to find a more beastly defensive lineman than Ekom (pronounced A-com) Udofia (6-3, 280, 5.0) from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral. Even at this early date he has schools clamoring for his services coast-to-coast.
Udofia is super strong and he flings opposing linemen around like a paperboy flings his papers on his route. His bench is 405, hand clean is 325 and his squat is 610.

As a junior, Udofia was selected first-team all-region and first-team all-state as a defensive tackle.
Though he was avoided and double teamed, Udofia racked up 63 tackles, 12 sacks and three fumble recoveries.
In the early going Udofia has six scholarship offers. They are from Stanford, Tennessee, Arizona, Arizona State, Miami and San Diego State.
Oregon State, USC, Michigan and Oklahoma are close to offering Udofia according to Chaparral head coach Ron Estabrook.
“USC is all over him,” Estabrook said. “They actually flew a guy out just to look at him. LSU came by today (February 24th) and they are going to recruit him.”
Many feel that is a forgone conclusion that Udofia and 4.1 GPA are headed to join his brother a redshirt frosh at Stanford.
This is not the case, though Stanford is definitely very much in the race.
“Ekom wants to take his visits before making a decision,” Estabrook said. “He wants to play in a big time program with big time academics. That would put Stanford and USC in good position. Ekom says he is ‘very open’ at this time.”
“Ekom is a big, strong kid who is all muscle,” Estabrook said. “He is as a solid as a rock.”
“Besides being so strong,” Estabrook said. “He moves so well for young man his size.”
“Ekom runs a legit five-flat right now,” Estabrook said. “We expect him to be under five-flat before the season. Believe it or not, Ekom is still developing and improving.”
