Ehrmann has a favorite

Last month Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School linebacker Joey Ehrmann reported three offers. Since then the 6-foot-3, 197-pounder hasn't gained any more scholarships, but he is receiving his share of interest.
"Syracuse, Duke and Iowa are still coming in and showing interest," he said. "Recently I've been talking to Virginia a lot. I think they are pretty close to an offer. I know they want me for linebacker in the 3-4, but I believe they want to see me run and how I drop into coverage on June 23rd and then I'll possibly get that offer.

"I'm also getting interest from Michigan State, North Carolina, Wake Forest and I've been trying to contact Penn State. I haven't heard anything from them yet."
With three scholarships, does Ehrmann have a favorite?
"It's probably Syracuse," he said. "I just have a good feeling about them and like everything I know. The only thing I'm waiting on them for is to turn it around. If they do I'm pretty assure and may commit, but if they struggle then that'll make for a tough situation.
"I like them because I've met the coaching staff before on a visit including the defensive coordinator. He's a very young guy that's up tempo and fun."
Besides a camp in Charlottesville, Ehrmann is considering camps to Syracuse, Duke and Iowa.
