Ehrensberger has five favorites

John Ehrensberger was one of the most productive defensive backs in the Midwest as a junior and plenty of schools are taking a serious look at him.
The 6-foot, 180-pound safety from Centerville, Ohio proved himself to be a polished player last fall.

Ehrensberger recorded 87 tackles and six tackles for loss while breaking up 10 passes. Coaches love his ability to play up at the line against the run while still showing good ball skills against the pass.
Thus far he has been invited to junior days at Indiana, Illinois, Northwestern, Toledo, Bowling Green, Louisville, Ohio and Northern Illinois.
"I went to Indiana's (junior day) and loved it there," he noted. "I'm going to Illinois' Junior Day this weekend. I haven't had any offers yet but right now my top schools are Indiana, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Penn State and Illinois.
"I'm also planning on going to spring practice at Northwestern, Indiana, Penn State, Wisconsin and a few others."
In all Ehrensberger has been receiving mail from about twenty different Division I programs, including Ohio State, Maryland, Rutgers, Purdue and others.
He plans on attending the NIKE Combine in Cincinnati on March 14.
