Offensive tackle Pat Eger has been holding onto an offer from West Virginia for a while now. This Saturday, however, he plans on visiting the Mountaineers' rival.
The 6-foot-6, 260-pound lineman from Jefferson Hills (Pa.) Thomas Jefferson plans on visiting Pittsburgh this weekend.
"I'll probably go down to Pitt on Saturday," Eger said. "It's going to be like a scrimmage.
"I went to West Virginia a couple of weeks ago. They had offered me a month or two back."
West Virginia is the only school to offer Eger thus far. Does he have a favorite?
"It's pretty much West Virginia right now," he said. "I'll probably go see Boston College and Illinois. I'm thinking I'd like to make my decision before the season starts. I'd like to at least narrow things down."
