Edwards draws his third offer

Downers Grove (Ill.) North junior safety prospect Garrett Edwards (6-foot-2, 192 pounds) added his third scholarship offer last Friday
when the Central Michigan University Chippewas extended a scholarship offer to Edwards. Central Michigan joins Northern Illinois and Toledo as the third MAC conference school to offer Edwards last week.
"The coaches from Central Michigan have offered me a scholarship," Edwards said. "I received the paperwork on Friday and the coaches also made an in school visit. I guess you can say that I had a pretty good week last week."
Edwards is very familiar with the Chippewas.
"I camped last summer at Central Michigan when a few teammates of mine and I headed up for a one-day camp. I'm really familiar with the school and the coaches. The campus at Central Michigan is really nice and I also really liked the facilities at Central Michigan. It's a good feeling to get an offer from a school that your already very familiar with and that's definitely the case with Central Michigan."
Edwards is also looking forward to hitting the summer camp circuit in a few weeks.
"I'm going to camp at Iowa on June 4th. I'm also looking to camp at Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern and possibly Notre Dame for one-day camps. I'm looking forward to just finishing my school year and then getting ready for my senior season."
Garrett Edwards has offers from Toledo, Northern Illinois and Central Michigan.
