Edds names his leaders

Greenwood, Ind., linebacker A.J. Edds, a varsity starter since his freshman year, is one of the Top 10 overall prospects in the Hoosier State.
Back in late April Edds had seven scholarship offers on the table. Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Louisville, Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Boston College being the ones that extended early offers.

"I have one more now," Edds said. "Kentucky offered a couple days ago.
"A lot will depend on how things go, but I would say I have a top five right now of Purdue, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Georgia Tech.
"That's not in any order. I would say Purdue is a little out in front, with the other four all together."
Edds attended Georgia Tech's camp over the weekend.
"Then I have Ohio State's camp for a day June 25. I'm going to stop at Illinois and possibly Wisconsin as well. And maybe Purdue too.
"After all the camps wrap up in late June and early July I'll cut things down to four or five schools, then narrow it down to two or three early in the season.
"I'll make a decision at the beginning of the season or sometime during the season."
The 6-foot-4, 215 pound Edds made 70 solo tackles and had 69 assists during his junior season. He registered four sacks and intercepted four passes.
