"Obviously I already knew a lot about Purdue, I've been there so many times. I didn't see anything new. I pretty much knew what to expect.
"It's close to home, that's appealing.
"Obviously the (Purdue-Notre Dame) game didn't turn out the way I would have liked, but I still had a good time. We'll see how it goes now.
"I think next Monday is when I'll announce a decision. My coach came to me and what's to have a press conference at my school.
"It's Purdue or Iowa, those two."
While in West Lafayette, Edds was hosted by Jason Werner.
The 6-foot-4 and 215-pound Edds has led his team to six wins in seven games. He has close to 40 solo tackles and close to 35 assists. Edds also has 16 receptions on the other side of the ball.
