ECU, Charlotte battle for 3-star DB

After a solid week of practice at the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas and a game performance that included a fumble recovery, three-star Monroe (N.C.) cornerback Tre'Shun Wynn is keeping his options open, at least for the next week or so.
"We'll see what happens this week and go from there," the 6-foot, 170-pound Wynn said. "I think I'll be making my decision in the next week or two."

Wynn appears to be down to a final two that includes East Carolina and Charlotte, with North Carolina lingering on the periphery.
"I still have ECU and Charlotte both talking to me a lot," he said. "Charlotte is the school that's really recruiting me the hardest right now."
As far as the Tar Heels, whose class is close to full and who have yet to offer, they remain in contact.
"Coach Brewer still hits me up on Twitter to see how things are going," Wynn said. "So I hope my performance at the Shrine Bowl will help me with them."
As far as both the Pirates and the 49ers, they remain the clear finalists to land Wynn. He provided his thoughts on each school.
East Carolina: "I went for the game against Tulsa and it really surprised me. I knew the campus was going to be big but it's really nice down there. I got to talk to some of the players and some of the coaches. I really like everything when I went down there."
Charlotte: "They call me like every week. I went on an official visit a few weeks ago and it was really amazing down there. It was better than I thought it was going to be, the coaches and the campus and everything. I like Charlotte."
