Ebert has big summer plans

It's been a productive summer so far for 6-foot, 178-pound safety Jeremy Ebert of Hilliard (Ohio) Darby.
After racking up nearly 1,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing as an athlete in 2006, he's made a big splash so far this summer at a few camps as coaches love his pure athletic ability and potential to grow into a play-making safety prospect.

"Jeremy attended the Eastern Michigan senior camp last week and ran a sizzling 4.38 in the 40," his father and athletic director at Darby, Chip Ebert, said. "Eastern Michigan made an official offer after the camp.
"This past weekend Jeremy attend UNC, Vanderbilt and Louisville camps. He was not tested at UNC or Louisville, but he ran another great time at Vanderbilt at 4.37."
Ebert plans on hitting more camps in the coming weeks, stopping off at Northwestern, Indiana, Ball State and Ohio State.
"Most schools are looking at me as a slot receiver, defensive back or athlete," Ebert said.
