East Coast Speedster Returns From Visit

Swedesboro (N.J.) Kingsway Regional wide receiver Dorien Bryant took his first official visit this past weekend.
"I went to Purdue and I had a really good time," said the 5-foot-10, 165-pound speedster. "I was hosted by Ray Williams who is from Jersey and I've known him a bit. He had a big catch in the game against Purdue.

"Purdue actually should have won the game, they just couldn't get in the end zone," he said. "I liked everyone there and there's no reason why I wouldn't play there. I'll consider them until the end."
Bryant has Boston College scheduled next (Dec. 6) although he's starting to think about changing a few things.
"If we're still not playing, I'm going to push up my official visit with NC State to Nov. 22 when they play Florida State," he said. "I have them set for Jan. 24 right now, but I'd like to move it if I'm open that weekend."
Bryant also has Tennessee set for Dec. 13 and said his last visit will go to Penn State for Jan. 17.
"I'll probably take that one, although there's a chance I could decide after Tennessee," he said. "Right now BC is probably still at the top with Tennessee and Purdue right behind them. NC State has faded a bit and Penn State is my fifth if I need it."
Why the sudden lack of interest in NC State?
"I don't know, I watched them a couple times this year and they run the ball a lot more than they used to and they have some young wideouts," he said. "It's just a feeling. It could change easily."
