Early stages for Coley

Miramar (Fla.) defensive end Trevon Coley knows he holds a few offers, but isn't sure at this point exactly how many.
"I don't know exactly," Coley said. "I think I have probably around 11. I have offers from Louisville, FIU, FAU, USF, UCF, Colorado State, NIU - I can't remember them all."

The 6-foot-2, 240-pound defensive end has yet to take any trips and has none scheduled at this point. That being said, he knows he wants to hit the road eventually.
"I want to visit a few of them," Coley said. "I am probably going to go to check out Louisville for sure."
At this stage in the process, Coley said an in-state school has shown him the most interest.
"FIU is recruiting me the hardest," Coley said. "They send a lot of mail. They talk about their campus. They want me to come visit their campus. They talk about the area they are in. They talk about their defense. They say I can make history over there. They just send me a lot about their school and their football program so far."
Coley, who intends to decide on or near Signing Day in February, knows what he wants in a college.
"First thing is education," Coley said. "The location is a factor. How deep the depth chart is at my position. It is going to come down to whatever me, my coach, and my family thinks is best for me."
