Early playing time decides it
Fort Lauderdale, Florida linebacker (6-foot-3, 205 pounds) Vincent Davis committed to Ball State earlier this week.
"I get a great chance to play early and that got me to commit there," Davis said. "The surroundings were also great, which played a big part in the commitment."

"The campus and atmosphere are great and the people were all straight up with me and cool."
Until recently, he was considering offers from Big 12 schools, Iowa State and Kansas. He has cancelled his visit to West Virginia (offered), that was scheduled for this weekend.
