Early interest for Miami junior
Junior wide receiver Elston Lane of Miami (Fl.) Gulliver Prep put together an impressive season on the field this fall, and is now hoping that this success will result in some additional success off the field.
"I'm receiving interest from Miami, Alabama, Ole Miss, Clemson, FAU, FIU, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Indiana and Boston College," said Lane. "None have offered yet, but they are showing interest."

Lane, 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, has yet to take any visits this fall, but is hoping to visit Miami, Alabama, Clemson and Ole Miss when the opportunity arises. He also mentioned that Miami and Texas A&M are currently showing him the most interest.
"I'm looking for a school that has great academics and also a school that's going to throw the ball," said Lane.
This fall, Lane finished with 22 receptions for 447 yards and 9 touchdowns.
"I could have did better, but we were weak at the quarterback position, so I really had to make plays myself," said Lane. "But overall, I think it was ok. I improved my speed, route running, making guys miss, and getting yards after the catch."
