Early Contact: 2017 DB Damani Neal

As of midnight on September 1st, college coaches are allowed to reach out to 2017 prospects on social media and send them mail. Thousands of prospects coast to coast are checking their physical and digital mailboxes to see which college is trying to recruit them. Potomac (Md.) Bullis School 2017 safety Damani Neal is one of them.

HEARD FROM: Maryland, Stanford, Penn State, Kentucky and Northwestern.

WHAT'S NEXT?: At one point, many people thought Neal was close to committing to Penn State but that turned out not to be the case. As of now Neal is in the process of planning visits for later this season. Expect a commit during next summer.
