Ealy is off to the Pac 10

One of the best prospects in the Greater Houston area has decided to play his college ball in the Pac 10.
Biren Ealy, the 6-foot-4, 200-pound receiver from Houston’s Cy Falls high school, has pledged to Arizona.
“I wanted to play early,” Ealy said. “I wanted to play as a freshman and I think I can do that at the University of Arizona.”
Ealy selected the Wildcats after visiting Arizona, Colorado and Texas Tech. He was also expected to visit Texas and Texas A&M in January, but says he no longer plans to make those visits.
Ealy liked several other things that the Wildcats showcased on his official visit to Tucson.
“When I went out there, I liked the coaches and the players. And I liked the look of their offense. That was a big deal, too.”
Ealy caught 32 passes for 569 yards and two touchdowns as a senior. He is projected as a full academic qualifier.
