Eagles flying high for Georgia DE

Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern defensive end Darius Kagler has a big, lean body and has tremendous play making skills that have earned him two scholarship offers and interest from several other major programs.
“I have written offers from Middle Tennessee State and Louisville right now,” Kagler said. “I have been getting calls and a lot of interest from Southern Miss, Alabama, East Carolina and Clemson.”

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Kagler runs the 40-yard dash in 4.75 seconds. He boasts a 300-pound bench press and 425-pound squat.
“I have not been to any college games so far this year,” Kagler said. “I am supposed to be going to the East Carolina-Southern Miss game on October 23. I also plan on trying to make it to a Louisville and Middle Tennessee State game this year. I am going to take my official visits when the season is over.”
So far this season Kagler has collected 58 tackles, two sacks and has one interception which he returned for a touchdown in only eight games.
“Right now my top five would be Southern Miss, Louisville, Middle Tennessee State, Alabama and Clemson,” Kagler said. “I would say that Southern Miss is my leader right now. Even though they haven’t offered they are recruiting me harder than anyone else right now.”
