Eager Beavers land three-star athlete

The Oregon State Beavers are hot. In the last two weeks they have landed two solid quarterbacks and now Rivals.com has learned that three-star athlete Sammie Stroughter (5-11, 178, 4.35) from Roseville (Calif.) Granite City will be a Beaver.
The Beavers get a player in Stroughter who has a penchant for making plays. He could end up playing a variety of positions for the Beavers.

As a junior, Stroughter proved that he was a triple threat. He rushed for 726 yards and scored 15 touchdowns on the ground. Stroughter also threw for 196 yards and added eight catches for 126 yards. Not bad day at the office and versatile, too.
Stroughter had offers from Utah State, Utah, Boise State, Idaho State, BYU, as well the team the school the ultimately won his services Oregon State.
